Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Lidsmith Inc Does Not sell email addresses. Subscribing to our newsletter is 100% voluntary. If you do not wish to receive emails from us, do not sign up for the mailing list. If you have signed up you may at anytime opt out of any future contacts from us by simply unsubscribing from emails. This option is found at the bottom of any subscribed email using the specific word ‘unsubscribe’. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Email & Order Status Updates: After placing your order, you will receive email updates about your order status. Keep these emails accessible for your records. 

Order Confirmation Email: Confirms that we have received your order. 

Shipment Confirmation Email: Confirms that all or parts of your order has shipped. You may receive more than one shipment confirmation email if items are shipped separately. Arrival times depend on the shipping method selected during checkout & the shipping destination.

Important Notices Regarding Your Order: This email provides important information about your order, such as: payment processing issues; inability to ship to the address provided; existence of a duplicate order; and cancellation of an order. All direct payment gateways offered by hostinger.com, WooCommerce, Stipe Inc and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

While we take reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, you the user assume all risk. We cannot be held responsible for internet fraud or theft. Please keep this in mind when providing information to us.

Orders

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you (via email or phone).

From time-to-time our site requests information for contests.
